Gherlin has a role as antiinflammatory. it does increase in cases of allergy and intolerance. and it may cause weight gain

Gherlin causes food cravings and emotional eating

35% of adults in Egypt are obese 

40% of adults in Egypt are overweight 

When does obesity start? 

12 weeks before intrauterine life 

Do not say obese patient . Say patient with obesity. 

breast feeding baby learns self regulation of food, learns when to stop feeding. Breast milk has different tastes. 

Formula feeding baby still feeds till the finishing the bottle, also bottle milk has only one taste 

Mom with obesity should insist on breast feeding to protect her child from obesity 

formula milk has high protein than breast milk 

Sometimes I use low calorie diet or very low calorie diet with patients with apnea and severe obesity complication. but for short term

IF you give patient low carb, you are now doing Atkin, one molecule of glycogen burnt from the liver with 4 molecules of water so diuresis happens. This leads to craving after that.

Peanut is a good snack 

Continous low intensity exercise works on lipid profile better
